Jamie Martin

Jamie has worn many hats since joining the Experience Life team in June 2005: editorial intern, researcher, fact checker, Web editor — the list goes on. Now she’s responsible for the Head Out, Success Stories and Edibles departments. She also manages this fabulous Web site, which includes day-to-day maintenance and long-term strategic development and planning.

Outside of the office, Jamie most enjoys the three Rs — running, reading and relaxing — and spending time with her husband, Brady, their German Shepard, Velo, and family and friends. She also loves being active in the outdoors, whether she’s hiking through the woods near her parent’s home in rural Wisconsin, shooting hoops with her brothers or training (she ran her second half-marathon in May 2009).

A 2005 graduate of the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, Jamie has a BA in professional journalism and a minor in Spanish Studies.
