Senior Editor - Web Lead

Jamie has worn many hats since joining the Experience Life team in June 2005: editorial intern, researcher, fact checker, Web editor — the list goes on. Now she’s responsible for the Head Out, Success Stories and Edibles department. She also manages this fabulous new Web site and oversees the magazine’s intense, in-depth fact-checking process. 

Outside of the office, Jamie most enjoys the three Rs — running, reading and relaxing — and spending time with her husband, Brady, their German Shepard, Velo, and family and friends. She also loves being active in the outdoors, whether she’s hiking through the woods near her parent’s home in rural Wisconsin, shooting hoops with her brothers or training (she ran her first half-marathon in June 2008).

A 2005 graduate of the University of Minnesota–Twin Cities, Jamie earned her BA in professional journalism and a minor in Spanish Studies — for which she already needs a refresher course!
